Terms

1. ALL PROTOTYPES (1-25 PCS)

Credit card (MC, VISA or Am Exp) at the time of order only (even if you have a net 30 account) to avoid costly transaction and follow-up calling time. For Turnkey jobs, all parts and Pcb fabs to be paid at the time of placing order.

2.SHIPPING AND HANDLING

Shipping is F.O.B Hilltron, San Jose, CA, USA. A $10 handling charge will be billed for all orders worldwide. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer on all shipments. Any disputed shipping charges billed to a customer account, credit card or consignee billing, will be charged back to the customer by Hilltron.

3.ALL FIRST-TIME CUSTOMERS

Credit cards or C.O.D.only

4. REPEAT CUSTOMERS WITH SHIPMENT EVERY MONTH

Credit cards or C.O.D or credit terms (upon Hilltron’s approval only). For Turnkey jobs, all parts and Pcb fabs to be paid at the time of placing order.

5. ALL ORDERS

Hilltron will require 5% attrition added to all the passives, with a minimum of requirement of 5 extra parts, and 2 extra parts for all Actives and Large format devices. Extra devices are not required for very expensive parts. One extra parts is required for BGA, CGA, CFN, DFN or similar packages. All unused extra parts will be returned with the final shipment.

6. DELIVERY: ON TIME DELIVERY IS CONTINGENT UPON THE FOLLOWING:

  • Shipping destination is within the USA
  • All parts should match their respective pads on the PCB – All parts, including the PCB, must be defect-free
  • The Gerber file and the BOM should be at Hilltron 24 hrs. prior to the arrival of the parts kit – The Gerber file and the BOM sent to Hilltron should be complete with reference designators in the BOM as well as in the drawing
  • The PCB has reference designators & polarity signs clearly marked on it. We can work with partial reference designators as long as the drawing has complete reference designator/polarity markings on it
  • All parts with pin 1 or polarity must show some visible mark to identify. If a part is not clearly marked with polarity indicators, customer will have to provide that information
  • One day delivery is a 24-hrs. turn
  • Delivery ‘Clock’ starts only after all parts, files and documents are received in good order and after all questions related to assembly are answered satisfactorily
  • All orders received after 10 A.M. is considered received the following day 

7.PRODUCT LIABILITY FOR CONSIGN JOBS

Hilltron’s only obligation for defective assemblies within 30 days of invoicing will be for correcting any assembly-related problems with repair or rework, or reimburse the quoted assembly cost of the damaged product. Customer must supply all rework-related parts. Hilltron gives no warranty, either expressed or implied, and specifically disclaims all other warranties, including warranties for merchantibility and fitness. In no event Hilltron’s liability shall exceed the quoted assembly cost of the damaged product.
